I loved the songs from sisco, christina, sting, eminem, and Dre/snoop. The whitney houston song and the Britney song were two of the worst for that year in my opinion. The Alice dj track was okay. Regarding Smooth, Rob Thomas's vocal performance is nothing to write home about, but, Carlos plays a good solo. I prefer the vocal from maria maria, and, that track has a cool groove/vibe to it.

I'd agree guitar dude, people to often glorifyed those female pop divas.
But other wise, Santana has allways had a rep for drastically vibing good beats for average singers. So, your deff on track.

Some of those songs were out in 1999 here.

Song 50 is the best on the list, 56 and 93 are great also. BB Mac did a song called Still on Your Side. Fantastic tune.

depending on when a song was released and how it sold, you'll find that some songs do appear in multiple charts, usually two consecutive years.

Wow haven't thought about some of those songs in a while. Good list overall.

Hmmm, yeah lmao Grace um never again :p. And for the most part that's true. For example, alot of talent out of the u k doesn't reach the states simultaneously.

You'd be mildly surprised.

Post 12 by CrazyCapricorn (I lost my conscience! Anyone seen it?) on Friday, 18-Mar-2011 18:34:12

Yes, believe it or not, the UK does have some talent...they probably wonder the same thing about us Americans here. :p

anyway, some of these songs are older than I thought...:d

Post 13 by LittleSneezer (The Zone-BBS is my prison, but I like it here.) on Friday, 18-Mar-2011 20:12:51

Wow, I haven't heard some of these songs in forever! Personally, I would prefer to forget about anything by Britney Spears, N-Sync, Enrique Iglesias, and Rob Thomas/Matchbox Twenty, but I think it's a great list overall.

I suppose that's true, especially as they get overplayed.
